El agua es una fuente de vida insustituible y fundamental para el desarrollo de la sociedad. Además de ser esencial, el agua es un recurso agotable y cada vez más escaso a escala mundial.
Por ello, si logramos disminuir el consumo de agua potable, contribuiremos a preservar el medio ambiente y a mantener la calidad del servicio. Al mismo tiempo, podremos favorecer nuestra condición de vida y construir un importante vínculo solidario.
Por estas razones, es imprescindible que hagamos un uso apropiado del recurso.

El consumo de agua necesario por persona para vivir se estima en 80 litros diarios. Sin embargo en nuestro ámbito de concesión se consumen, en promedio, 300 litros diarios por persona.
En verano y los días de calor aumenta la demanda de agua potable y, por tanto, la necesidad de evitar su derroche. En esta época, además de ser utilizada para ingesta, preparación de alimentos, higiene y quehaceres domiciliarios, comienza a ser usada con mayor frecuencia y en actividades recreativas, como el llenado de natatorios y piletas de lona.
Cabe destacar que al tratarse de un recurso limitado, su abuso por parte de un usuario o un sector tiene consecuencias para el resto de los consumidores, como menor presión o falta de agua.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
